hello!
I am Jasmine Araujo (she/they)! I grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia where I spent most of my life. After going to college in Richmond, at the Virginia Commonwealth University, I earned my BFA from the department of Communication Arts! There I focused in Children’s Illustration. I am still currently based in Richmond where I create work in my at-home studio!

My art focuses on playful and simplistic shapes that are geared towards children. The use of pops of color such as reds and yellows make my work appear a lot more playful and silly. From children’s books, I hope for my art to bring a smile to children’s faces. I have produced a number of prints and stickers as well as created a fully realized book dummy titled “Goose Girl.”
